    try to change the USB interface cable..... mao ra na ako problem sauna wala man gud nay ayu ang cable nga dala sa enclosure.....

    Connect you ext drive the open mo disk management, if you see a drive without drive letter or path just assign.

    gitry na ni circles ug connect sa lain PC ang iyand enclosure. same specs ang tanang PC. dli ghapon ma-detect sa isa lang ka unit

    Kung ma-detect sa bios ang hdd (model and total capacity), then dili ni hw nga problema.
    Kay gagamit man ka ug usb (2.0?) nga enclosure, make sure you have XP SP2 installed. usb2 drivers only come with XP SP2.

    1. Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management
    - Mu-open ang Computer Management nga window.

    2. In the tree view sa left side, under "Storage", click on "Disk Management"
    - sa right side sa window, makita dayon nimo ang mga storage systems nimo, sa ma-detect sa windows.
    - kung bag-o ang drive (e.g. wala'y partition info, or "bag-o" sa system), naa'y dialog nga mu-inform nimo nga naa'y bag-ong hdd na-detect ang windows unya naa'y buhaton ang windows para ma-manage siya sa disk manager. i-click lang ang "OK" button. after ani, makit-an na dayon sa disk manager ang hdd.

    3. sa right side sa Computer management window, kung makita na ang drive, pwede na nimo i-partition ug i-format.
    - siguradoha lang nga ang bag-ong hdd nimo makit-an sa windows (model and capacity), kay kung dili bisan mga 3rd party tools dili matarong ug access ang hdd nimo (unless bypass nila ang windows HAL)...

    ** Mao ni akong gi-ingon nimo nga built-in sa windows nga disk manager
    ** Kung mahimo, tanan disk nimong bag-o, i-agi sa disk manager para garantisado na makit-an sa OS ang sakto na capacity niya.

    suwayi ug abri ue enclosure.

    i duot and connector sa hdd.

    unya, i try ug connect sa back sa ur cpu.ayaw sa front kay basin gubaon na ang port

    and cord arrangement kay:

    self powered (usb) : 2 connectors to the pc..1 in the enclosure

    and be sure ur using win xp sp2

    with external power (adaptor) ; 1 each end - pc and enclosure.
