I wanted to share something and hear your thoughts. I have been working in software development, but currently, I am looking for a new developer job. Due to some personal reasons, I am now outside Dubai and searching for opportunities remotely.
While browsing different job portals and websites, I noticed that there are still many jobs in Dubai across various technologies. However, I sometimes wonder whether age can become a barrier when trying to restart or continue a career, especially after taking a break or searching from another country.
Has anyone here successfully changed jobs or restarted their tech career at a later stage in life? How was your experience with employers in Dubai?
I would really appreciate hearing your experiences, advice, and any tips for staying competitive in the current job market.
