Don't Buy Here !!!!: Paramount Properties, the worst builder in the Philippines.

Read this blog for a few of the problems I've encountered with this builder.

I tried to get my money back, but they delayed for so long I just gave up and bought the least expensive model they were selling. I should have just got my money back.

COMPLAINTS:
· Highly unstable power utility
o No permanent VECO connection on each occupied unit
o Temporary connection is unstable and often fluctuates which is hazardous to the residents and electrical appliances
o Temporary connection is considered illegal by VECO
o Prone to fire due to fluctuating and inconsistent power supply
o Various damage to electrical appliance had been reported

· Incomplete roads and drainage systems
o Road access going to the subdivision is not complete and inconvenient
o Road inside the subdivision is far from complete
o Drainage system is not properly constructed and far from complete
o Water overflows and backflows from drainage had been reported

· Inadequate security
o Outsiders are free to come and go inside the subdivision due to incomplete perimeter fence and inadequate security personnel
o Burglary/Theft on some units due to ineffective and inefficient security policy had occurred
o No street lightings causing fear on homeowners to walk around the property during at night
o Security checks on laborers and construction workers are not properly implemented
o Laborers and construction workers are allowed to stay overnight
o Laborers and construction workers are free to roam around even during wee hours of the night
o Laborers and construction workers that are not involve in Mazari Cove project can stay overnight
o Beachgoers (outsiders) are rampant especially on holidays and weekends
o Farm animals (cows and goats) are free to roam around and eating homeowners’ plants
o Stay-in workers sometime bring friends/families inside the property

· Poor quality finishes
o Water leaks (roofs, ceilings, windows) on some units occur even on light rains
o Bathroom and sink tiles easily breaks
o Termites have infiltrated and consumed the door jams, cabinets, stairs and other related wood finishing
o Window frames are not solid enough and easily breaks causing the glass on it to fall
o Bubbles and cracks on wall finishing are common and constantly increasing
o Defect fixing are not completed or started even after a year or more from turnover of residential units
o Road cracks are distinguishable
o Seawall are damaged

· Poor after sales service
o Punchlists are not addressed in timely manner
o Calls are not returned and no reply on text message inquiries from Paramount personnel often happens
o Engineering personnel/head are rude and arrogant

· Improper safety procedures and sanitation of contractors
o Contractors (laborers and construction workers) personnel don’t have proper waste management (human waste are dump everywhere)
o Contractors personnel took a bathe on the side of the roads and visible to homeowners
o Construction materials/wastes (nails, scaffoldings, cement spills, woods with nails) are not properly secured or disposed and may cause injuries to anyone

· No proper de quorum on contractors’ personnel
o Events of peeping tom and rude behaviors are reported
o Drunk personnel often roam around the property
o Due to unavailability of toilets and bathrooms, indecent exposures are not uncommon
o Shouting and loud voices are not uncommon even on non-working hours
o Contractors personnel sometimes loiter on occupied residential units
o Events have been reported of illegal drug use by contractor personnel

naa na sad problema sa La Cresta carcar. more than 5 years na pila ra ka-units ila na contruct. hilig na sila magpromise. niya kun naa ka unpaid payments ug kun ignorante ka. ila na e forfiet imuha payments. murag ba na thank you na lng sa imu gihatag.
