    Default Cannot Detect Wireless Connection


    Hi guys, naa koi friend then dili cya maka kita sa wifi connection sa iyang laptop ( XP ).... but ang laptop sa uban tao maka detect man...didto ko device manager ok man cya... no prob at all...

    naa mu ika suggest kung unsa akong buhaton next? im sorry kalimot ko sa wireless ethernet card brand and model

    basin wala nya gi-ON ang wireless bro...ang ubang laptop man gud naa pa kay i press nga button somewhere para ma ON ang iyang wireless..ang button usually naay symbol nga kanang antenna basta pangitaa lng na cya...

    > correct. some laptops have on/off switch para ma activate ang wifi. usually ang indicator niya kai antenna nga triangle, dapat lighted.

    ah mao ba? is it not enough nga ni ingon cya nga its working and all mao sad no? thanks..ill check it out

    > the device manager tells you if the wifi's device drivers are installed properly. some laptops have the on/off switch as an option to save on battery power.

    some laptops (i.e. dell, toshiba) dont have physical switches for their wireless cards. well not all models though. if your type does not have one, try to search for the control key/short cuts on the keyboard.

    or start the wireless zero configuration: Start > Run > type: "services.msc" > look for: "wireless zero configuration" and double click to open.

    on the general tab, look for the start button and click it. that should start the WZC and the wireless card, assuming that it is not turned on.

    from there, connect to any network available/accessible.

    Try to update lastest driver for your ethernet card. I hope it will fix your problem.
