All you need is a text editor and a compiler. You said you knew c++?

Sakto si Vern bro...all you need is a text editor and a compiler. In fact the DevC++ you have just downloaded contains all you need to write C++ apps. When you downloaded an IDE for C/C++ it already contains and editor and a compiler plus a bunch of tools. They keyword is "Integrated Development Environment".
