Reasons why dili helpful ang major networks ron:
    - Promote homosexuality rather than promote acceptance
    - Dramas kay more into cheating and family feuds which does not always end with a positive lesson
    - Noon show entertainment kay murag ad-lib tanan. Highlighting more sa mga artista just doing whatever they want keysa creating quality content for viewers.
    - Subjective newscasting
    - Rehashed old telenovelas and dubbed Kdramas

Ending: Nothing na pwde sila makat.on. A lesson to learn from. Exposed to dramas and subjective newscasting rather than objective newscasting. Daghan pa ug mga pinoy nag think na news media objective, honest and trustworthy ilang ipagawas. In the end, kwarta ra na ilang gi apas. Asa sila maka benefit ug maau, ad2 na sila mu side.

Every country naay biased na media. Pero diri sa ato, walay media ning support sa president. And mao na ang lisod kaau na part. Tanan kontra.

Ani ni siya bro, the non-renewal ang their Franchise doesn't preclude them from selling out to somebody who has the money to buy them out and pay all their debts. Tapos ang problema.

Ang ato man gud mind once dili na i renew ang franchise ma undang na dayon ang atong kalibutan. Mo ingon dayon ang mga datu..

Non-renewal diay ha? Grab my beer! ..

This is what happened to Inquirer kung nakahindumdum ka? sa mga Prieto? Nga sigeg tira ni Duterte before to the point of creating false and fake news against Duterte?

Gi pul-an ang tiguwang intawon, gi paningil ang long overdue nga utang kay walay bayad2x sa ilang mga utang panahon pa ni Cory Aquino. All other Presidents didn't dare to "panukut" their debts kay mahadlok ug bad publicity.
Well-known Journalists would attest that politicians don't dare attack media outlets for fear of bad news and publicities, but not this President, he does what he thinks is right. Thus, gipanukot ni digong, na yayay ang inquirer and cried foul and did everything in their power and money to bring this President down.

The end result, gibaligya sa mga Prieto who by now are Billionaires at the cost of public funds kay walay bayad sa ilang Mile Long Properties nga gipa abangan sa Government sa ilaha sa panahon pang mampor, pero wala lage bayad2x, these debts have now amounted to Billions of pesos. A very long overdue debt.

The question now is , na close ba ang Inquirer? Wala, ni sell-out sila to the Angs (I think), and since then murag na tarong2x gamay ang articles sa Inquirer, dili na parehas sa una nga grabi ang imong mabasa, pulos twisted articles.

Ang linya ni digong nga pulos putol, ug mo ingon si Digong nga, "Do not sell drugs, because if you do, I will kill you". How headline dayon sa Inquirer ang "I will kill you", ang contents would even say. Drug addicts I will kill you, I will make the Pasig river red, blah blah blah..

Inspite all that, na close ba ang Inquirer? Wala... And that's how this President is tolerant to Freedom of Speech and Expression. Which Maria Ressa is saying otherwise. ang mga amaw baya..

With all these I hope na gets nimo ug asa padung si digong aning ABSCBN..

The wisest thing probably these Lopezes could do is to sell-out. These people would rather sell-out than lose Billions because of debt, which by the way is supposedly by now "your money" because you are a taxpayer. However, millions raman ata ang ilang utang. Chicken feed rana nila.

But I think the Lopezes are seeing this as an opportunity.

Again, your definition of "ABSCBN having best shows" I personally don't agree with it.
when i said ABSCBN has the best shows bai, I meant "relatively".
compared sa other TV networks, i think mas okay ilaha but i am not saying the shows are good.
by "other TV networks", unsa ra may option sa mga ultimong pinoy. GMA ra man sad.
sa primetime for example, (a) Cara Mia vs (b) Probinsyano - same bullshit, same garbage - but the better garbage is (b).
    (a) Willie vs (b) Minute to win it - same garbage, but again better garbage is (b).
i don't watch these shows pero example ra ni sila.
maong on my later post, I compared ang mga local TV networks nato diri as grupo sa mga bati'g nawong - pero ang ABS ang pinaka-arang-arangan.

kung buot unta huna-hunaon kaya man unta sa ABS at their budget and talent nga muhimo ug ala Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, or House of Cards nga level nga shows unta. but they won't do it. why? walay mutan-aw. mabaw ra kaayo ang standards sa mga Pilipino. so i think ang kuwang is i-educate first ang mga viewers.
for example - Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Better Call Saul, Survivor are my favorite TV shows.
pero patan-awa akong mama ug papa ana oh. ambot lang. haha!

not familiar sa Inquirer but i think main issue nila was occupying Mile Long nga walay bayad2x human ila pa gipaabangan. baga'g mga nawong. not sure kung nabayran na ilang utang pero nakuha na sa gobyerno ang property and the govt is now getting income out of the property. dili sad ko aware nga lain na tag-iya sa Inquirer.

if kung unsay nahitabo sa Inquirer mao sad ang mahitabo sa ABS, i am okay with that.
that is, makuha sa government ug unsay dapat sa ila (the Mile Long property in the case of Inquirer, the frequency/franchise sa ABS), then ABS can continue to do their business whether on a different channel/frequency or with a different owner.

My apologies. Ang correct term would be mainstream media. PTV, in my opinion, is not. If it is part of mainstream media, I stand corrected.
