Organico, whose main office is in Ormoc, and is owned by Cerrone Posas, has started recruiting investors although their farms have yet to operate.
“We already received information regarding their activities way back to 2018. We issued an advisory warning the public that Organico is not allowed to solicit investment. Despite the warning, many people still invested in Organico,” said Bautista.
He said Organico’s activity is considered a scam. “They are in the guise of selling piglets. That was just their front because based on the information that we received,
they only had about 50 pigs but they had numerous investors,” Bautista said.
