mahal man gyud sa manila bisan unsaon...but maglibog lang pud ko sa mga tag manila nga mibalhin ug puyo sa Cebu,...mag sige ug ingon nga mhal n bati sa cebu but still na-a pa sila diri...y not transfer back to manila...
may dengue daw sa manila...
FALSE! because dengue-carrying mosquitos will hatch their eggs sa clean na mga water... very polluted na ang water sa manila that's why walay dengue sa manila... hehehe
please get your information straight. Dengue-carrying mosquitos hatch their eggs in dirty, stagnant water.Originally Posted by meagan

The amount is the same all over the Philippines.
some parts are dirty... but then if you're in places like makati, edsa, manila, pasay, and global city etc.. you will see mmda's cleaning around. The noisy part, i can't quite tell. If you're living along a main road for sure that's noisy, syempre you'll hear jeeps and busses. If you're living in malate you'll hear bar niose. But if you're living in a residential area, i don't think it's that noisy. hehe...It is dirty and noisy. Wrong.
There are a lot of good, quiet and clean places to hang around, and the good example is Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City.
It depends on the company and position. There are a lot of opportunities here. If you're competent enough, companies here can give you as much as 30k starting with great benefits (transpo, meal, clothing allowance and night differential). I'm talking about the IT industry specifically. Just learn how to bargain. But then there are also companies that pay minimum. You just have to choose a good employer talaga. The salaries are high. Wrong.
There are still companies that pay peanuts.
You can also find cheap places in manila and pasay. The rental fees of room or business offices are high. Wrong.
In cities like Taguig, Marikina, Novaliches, and part of Pasig it is relatively lower. Though quiet high in Manila, Makati, Pasay and Quezon City.
if you're single you can survive with a 25k salary and even save some. but if you're putting someone through school or whatever, 25k isn't enough.A 25,000 peso salary is not enough. Wrong.
It depends on the spending habit of an individual, but generally as of year 2007 the 25k wage is more than enough. I was even surprised to hear the comments of some that an 18,000 peso salary is big for them.
not everyone in manila is fortunate enough to go to a nice school to study english. The people speak good English and correct pronunciation. Wrong.
A number of call centers go to the provincial cities for hiring agents to augment the lack of good English speakers in Metro Manila. They lure the candidates with huge salaries and free accommodations.
