up ko ani mga master...
Wow!! I never thought this thread would come alive in the dead center of economic recession.
I had already posted here way back 2014(?) and it's good people are turning Cebu into a hub
for entrepreneurs both young and old.
I knew a couple who had purchased multiple units of condos and now assuming one unit which
was previously owned by a OFW. This couple are now living their dream—and they're only a tad
bit older than me, married but not yet raising a family of their own and with high paying jobs. I'm
kinda jealous, knowing that I could afford what they had acquired but never thought of it many
years ago before I had my family. It hurts even more that the said condos are situated around a
2km radius from IT and Ayala.
Their units are now being rented out to some Japanese and Korean folks who are here transient
for their ESL training. Each unit is priced for 10k/mo only—and they have three units which are all
occupied as of this writing. Tenants are under contract for minimum of 4 mos. with a termination
fee of 15k if tenant couldn't abide.
Aspiring lurkers can take note.
For those who have their family business up and running,
there's a conference on September you might want to join
and learn from the experts who are from family enterprises
for decades or even more.
More details about the conference in the blog:

Actually, I started to build my own small business in our country worth 350kPhp since 2014 until now. To be honest, 180K lang talaga ipon ko nun, buti nalang nakahanap ako ng source na pang dagdag ng ipon ko kaya nakastart ako ng small business which is the 30 units of Pesonet. Good start for me at sa family ko na tinutulungan ako, at salamat din dito sa source na to https://www.ecomparemo.com/business-loans na tinulungan ako magprocess ng loan ko at hassle free pa.
I was starting from online store. Just got my first clients and then opened a full store in the city. Was hard but I didn't give up!
