I am a Christian Filipino. My president was Duterte before he called God stupid and SOB.
You can also choose to transfer to another country. Since you are now against the President, it would be hypocritical of you to stay and live her.

Also, this is one way of hurting the President since there will be one less person paying taxes.

I find this solution as ineffective. Most of the good institutions are Catholic-inclined schools and parents, regardless of their religion, would want to give the best education to their kids. Denying them of that just because they support the President in general is just plain.... for lack of better term, idiotic.

No wonder China Bank has a employee union who has the right to criticize, protest and make a change. That is what the PTA is for, unless you do not want that role and right to criticize and voice out your opinion for a better school.

And then you brush it off by saying most private entities do not have employee unions. Just because there is no organized body, does not mean that you have no right to criticize and voice out for a change.

Yes, you have never heard. Because it is in our nature to just bow down right away. Just like how we bow down that we need to pay for the Sacrament of Baptism for us to be freed from the original sin. Just like it should be your right to call them out on why they are practicing what they preach.

Baptism frees Catholics from original sin. It’s not the fee or money for the administrative processes. This is similar to the fees when we transact with the government - like when you apply for LTOP and PTC. The money is for the paper works or what is commonly called red tape. It’s not the money that allows one to carry a gun but the license. Of course, it will set you back several pesos considering it’s not free.

You know what, your president has this propensity to question Christian edicts and even went as far as calling God stupid and SOB. It would be a bragging accomplishment if he will decree all processing fees for baptism, marriage, funerals, etc. are now free. No, it will not usurp the inviolability of separation of church and state doctrine considering he will cover the fees from his pocket or from government sources.

Also, why would anyone question the collection done in every Holy Mass? Do they know that this is voluntary? I have not heard of anyone prosecuted for not giving. Try this similar stunt with the government and you will be prosecuted for evading tax payment.

It seems all issues hurled against the Catholic Church have something to do with money. In a matter of time, it will look like a quarrel among thieves between Duterte and his minions against the clerics on the other side.

I am a Filipino and a Christian. My president was Duterte before he called God stupid and SOB.
The use of the government paperworks is your license to practice such services. Such as Driver's License to drive. You do not need to have baptism to be able to have a relationship with God. You have to be baptized to be considered as a Catholic. But you have to pay a fee. If you do not, you are not free from the Original Sin, thus, cannot be considered a Catholic. Isn't there something wrong with that picture? This is the same with other Sacraments that mostly require a fee. Why do we need to pay for us to be closer to God spiritually just because our Philippine Catholic Church says so?

I do not question the collection done. However, I do question why there are two. One is before communion and another is before the end of the mass. They claim it is for maintenance of the church but see no improvements or maintenance done. Old, uncleaned electric fans, decades old chairs and etc.

This is about where our money went. We provide donations voluntarily, since we want to help the Catholic Community for they say they have no "income". However, most see less improvement on the facilities and etc but more on the stocks of the Philippine Catholic Church,a lot of luxury items and a few kids for pleasure.

If you know of a private university with recognized parents union that have a representation at the board of trustees then be my guess show it.
Its in our nature to bow down right away? where did you get that? lol
You are already are doing it. Bowing down to the priests for whatever they say is the word of God. That includes not calling them out if they have luxury cars. Or if they say you need to pay to be absolved for your Original Sin.

Hopefully, your daughter if you have one will not have a long relationship with a man without marriage. If you do not know, marriage, like baptism, is one of the seven sacraments. And if you want to by pass all seven, don’t call a priest for your dearly beloved nearing death. The last rites, extreme unction, is also one of the seven sacraments like baptism.

Sorry, but sometimes we have to be blunt to drive certain points that are either not easily understood or simply evaded.

I am Filipino and a Christian. My president was Duterte before he called God stupid and SOB.
Wait, I don't remember making that statement.

Denomination (in order of decreasing divorce rate)
    % who have been divorced

    Non-denominational ** 34%
    Baptists 29%
    Mainline Protestants 25%
    Mormons 24%
    Catholics 21%
    Lutherans 21%

U.S. divorce rates: for various faith groups, age groups and geographical areas

Too bad, statistics say that marriage is not an assurance of a long relationship with a partner. A little research would help.

Unfortunately, you simply resort to extreme measures just to avoid creating a good rebuttal. Let me ask you this, so all those who were not baptized in the catholic way or never been baptized at all not welcome in God's paradise. You are so sure that baptism is required to have a relationship with God. So, please do tell me what would happen to them.

Long before Christianity and RC baptism was born, humans already have the connections or relationship to their God or gods.
