Heylp! My Monitor Turns Pink!

Hi guys...am new here but i hope somebody out there can help me. my monitor screen suddenly turned pink yesterday. my only question is, can this be fixed? i have surfed several troubleshooting sites but then most of the advices turned out to be 'it needs a replacement'...but it's just about 4 years....(or is this too long??) any brilliant advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

same here but its a green what can i do is to spang my monitor to go back normally :mrgreen:

to you both, just check for loose connection on the VGA wire.

yah, spookey is right... but if you still have same problem, check for loose parts connections in its mainboard and resolder it... :mrgreen:

you might have problem within the monitor, its not a vga problem cz if it was, the monitor will not detect it or it will indicate a line picture in the screen

thanks peeps for the advices...everything doesn't seem to work (i'll probably send this to a computer repair nlng...know nothing of the resoldering thing..) i bought a new LCD monitor...sad to say, i'm bugged with a distorted image problem...hay..monitors seem to be hostile on me!

1. maybe the resolution didnt much with the correct specification of you LCD Monitor. wats d brand of your LCD Monitor?

2. r u using same CPU with ur previous monitor and d LCD Monitor? f so, maybe 8s ur VIDEO CARD s d problem...

1. it's a Samsung 19" widescreen.

2. yes. i'm using the same CPU. i'll go check my video card specs too if this might be the problem.
