The only reason I still keep MS Windows on my system is tungod kay naanad lang ko sa uban apps like Photoshop. But other than that, halos tanan apps nga available sa Windows now have equivalent programs nga available as open-source apps. The next time nga naa mo'y kailangan nga software, ayaw diritso adto sa mga pirata sa colon. Give this site a try: http://sourceforge.net

It's the best source for anyone looking for open-source apps. And if mas "adventurous" ta, we can always pick out a project from SourceForge to contribute to.

    check this out:
    -http://www.bayanihan.gov.ph/

These are made by Filipinos. I think the govt should support this. I mean really use Bayanihan Linux. I visited DOST but damn they're using Windows. I heard their servers are running Linux but their employees should start using this coz they supported the project. If they find it difficult to use open source then how can they convince the public?

For starters, Famelix(http://www.famelix.com.br/) is really nice but it seems Brazilian ra. Anybody got the English version? I used Freespire and Linspire pero it's not really MS Windows looking.

Vista is just different enough from XP that technicians and users will need training.

Dont study computer-related course if you're poor in math or if that you're stupid and tamad. IT world isnt for you. Vista is easy medyo annoying lang at first. The interface is way better than the lower versions. You dont need any training. You'll get used to it in a week.

    Go FOSS!
