well sir the Bible said it all in Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves. it is the gift of GOD, not by works so that no one will boast.
10: For we are GOD's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which GOD prepared in advance for us to do.

So sir, its by grace, gracia sa Gino-o through faith ug dili sa ato kaugalingon. see the difference there. and it says pa gyud nga its a gift. now sir, wala baya gift nga bayran? how can a gift be a paid gift? it will certainly loose its value as a gift, dba? all gifts are free, none would say i will go to rustans so that i can buy myself a gift dba sayop?

It is also clear nga "not by works so that no one will boast". well sir the bible is clear dli na for us to work for our salvation. it is the work of GOD alone by the very verse stated above.

grace is an undeserved favor or gift. given freely to anyone who respond to it.

it's like this sir, dba because of the fall of men by one man adam we are separated from GOD and as a result of that separation surely eternal death is inevitable. The wages of our sin is death, we know how it is to die without the LORD much more eternal separation from GOD.
So, instead for us paying our sins with eternal death in the lake of fire. Through Christ Jesus, who knows no sin became sin for our transgressions and HIS death paid for our sins, that is payment there big time. So, that we are justified by grace through faith, ang ato participation lang is repentance and acceptance of the gift of GOD ug dili pina-agi sa atong buhat nga referred to us "good works" ang maka luwas nato but rather our good works is the result of our getting saved by grace through faith, it is proof of our salvation and return to GOD because of our good works.

mao na ang big difference dha. kita dapat ang mo pay sa ato sala, but CHRIST readily paid for it by HIS very life so we will not die the eternal death and be separated from GOD forever but rather be justified by grace through faith and be reconciled to the father for eternal glory as co-heir of Christ in HIS Kingdom.

So, having said that, is it our work that will save us? or is it the complete work of GOD that provide a perfect salvation for man kind? Ephesians is very clear. GOD bless sir.

in Romans 2:4 .... that GOD's kindness lead you to repentance.

in Romans 5:8 But GOD demonstrate his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners Christ died for us.

Romans 6:10 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of GOD is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LORD.

There you go...... it is the love of GOD to the world and HIS kindness that leads us to repentance and it (salvation) is a gift.

Yah GOD demonstrated victory over death with the LORD Jesus Christ resurrection, overcoming power that lead people in awe that time. but don't you think GOD could have done even more and greater miraculous work that will make people in awe for the rest of our lives? Yes He can but the truth is, HE need to pay for our debts so that we will be set free indeed from the bondage of sin and death. Payment is required and as a just and holy GOD, He paid for our sins....... so that we will see HIS love and kindness that will lead us to repentance and accept HIS gift of salvation to us.

In reality people use this verse wrongly: John 3 :16.
The word "Believe" was not fully understood.
Its not through mouth or claim but its through works and faith in order to say that "I believe".
And the Grace of God is the CHance to have eternal life and that is through follwing the Law of Christ and the Law of Christ is Repentance, Baptism, good works and endure until the end.
