    Agree with Mikhail. Self-development in Toastmasters is by doing - just like in a gym membership. Put in the hours and the effort. There is nothing to be learned by just listening because there aren't really lectures. It's mostly the evaluation of others of your speaking that becomes the learning portion. Of course the journey of speech writing, preparation and delivery hones your skills.

    If you feel it's expensive, you can be aggressive in your development by seeking more opportunities to speak, and you can do this by club-hopping when you become a member. Just inform the club you wish to club-hop and clubs are generally receptive to this idea.

    nindota i apil uy, wa may toastmasters dri southern leyte gud. tingali ma overcome pa ni nako akong
    phobia sa public speaking (introvert man pud gud ko...)

    You can always coordinate sa mga clubs and discuss nga mag butang mog club diha sa inyong place boss.

    kanang naay mga trainings or open discussions to encourage people to join TM? our company is planning to create their own TM pero dili siya high level same as Cebu toastmasters Club it is for the improvement of the employees and tumong. unfortunately, looking thru existing clubs, it is way too expensive for the company to apply. please help!! basin iclose nlng guro ni amo club kay wala jd mi activities on how to start
