lol telstra is not at all cheap. im working for telstra's Delivery Team(Voice and data products) so Im much aware of their current pricing in australia. Their data plans are slightly more expensive than in the philippines and they are capped as well. Although capped din ang internet sa PH mas okay pa ang offerings ng telco dito, mas affordable lalo na sa mga mobile plans I think 25percent cheaper dito sa atin and mas malaki ang internet data na included sa plans...

Siguro converting the dollars into peso. But in relation to dollar minimum wage mas okay sya.

Say sa CDO ang minimum wage is 400 pesos. Para sa 999 plan 2 days worth of work for just 8gb data

    Sa Telstra (AU) https://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-ph...tes/data-packs

Australia average minimum wage is 120 dollars a day.

An 8gb data pack is 55$
    Isang half day lang.

    Big difference talaga.

Of course if you concert 55 au$ to peso its 2.2k

    So AU 8gb = 2,200 pesos
    Ph 8gb = 999 pesos

Mura gyud sya ug mas barato sa atoa.

Pero kung imo irefer to minimum wages, layo ra difference.

Para sa 2 days minimum wage in Australia 195$ aud is already 75 gb with LOTS of freebies

    https://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-ph...ans-and-rates#

    Layo ra gyud

make sense. yep if ibase sa salary morag affordable jod siya for australians. maayu sad jod nuon naay lain competitor ang smart og pldt for residential customers pero dont expect nga mas cheaper sila nga grabe, cguro they can give btter offers and better service pero nirag wala nmn daw silay plano na

and yes tinuod ang telstra is servicing enterprise customers globally/internationally. kay nagsetup silag service desk for their international customers nga mga enterprise apil na ang enterprise/companies sa PH. di lang ko magmention og names sa customers kay confidential 😉

not to mention, Telstra would most likely have MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER Customer service than what we currently have right now. PLDT? SKY? GLOBE? Tingbayad gani paspas kaayu pero naa kay issue daghan kayg palusot nya dugay kaayu mareconnect ug naay issue nya way compensation or anything. mayta btawg naa nay one or two nga international ISP musud sa pilipinas kay paeta kaayus ISP nato ngari uy.

Lagi.

It's not true, ayaw mog tuo anang mu-engun nga naay Telstra dire they tried to negotiate and in fact their where selected people last year na gitagaan nilag mga tester's sim but unfortunate the deal with San Miguel Corp and to acquire their bandwidth failed. Plano ta sa Telstra nga joint venture but ang ganahan sa SAN MIGUEL is. "Mu-invest sila sa network venture but dapat kung alkanse they will get the full payment of that invested amount. There are also outside factors an gipugngan jud ang pagsulod sa TElstra. PLDT themselves felt the upcoming competitor so nakigdeal sad sila sa San Miguel para makuha ilang Bandwidth.. We are very hopeful na sa admin ni Duterte mutry unta napud ug negotiate and Telstra but wala pamiy news about it.
