boss murag sayop na inyo practice pag engage and disengage sa parking brake. just like other cars naa sa ato manual p.6-4:
1. to engage, firmly press the brake pedal
2. pull the parking brake lever up. (naa sa Note section: be sure to apply sufficient force in pulling the lever)

then...
1. to disengage, firmly press on the brake pedal
2. pull the parking brake lever slightly up and press the button (located at the end of the lever) then push the lever down. this is the only time nga inyo i-press ang button.

kanang kagot nga inyo gi-ingon by design gyud na. most vehicles if not all ky ang desired level of "kagot" or notches ky 5-7.. it is on that level nga nipaak gyud ang parking brake. mao nga sa pag engage, dili nimo dapat i-press na ang button ky dili ka makadungog sa notches. @tooth_decay sayop gyud kaayo imong practice, boss.. mao na kaingon ka nga dili kaayo ka-hold ky wala man kay guide kung igo na ba imong pag pull sa lever.

No need gyud na i-press ang button boss kung padung ka mu engage sa parking brake. Just pull up the lever to its max level (~7 clicks) and you're good. Dili ra na maguba dayon or not at all under normal use. Ang cable ra ana mu sag over time and will develop rust kung mahumol sa baha.

@kargadorq ...actually boss, dli mn jud nko ipa kagot ig handbrake..e press mn jud nko ang button then lift up..usahay lng murag dli mn gud mo hold..mao ng ig daun abot sa taas ky patingugon nko...aatleast sure nga nka engaged jud...hehehe

I mean dli mo hold ba, moatras jpun..so wala pajud cya totally nka lock in..hehe

Mao nga nangutana ko pila kaha ka tuig mabuga ang parking brake kay dugay naman kaayong hinulbot nako aning brake lever. which is para nako is the right thing to do.
