Good mindset! 80-90% of ppol have debts dat they nid to pay wich is practically normal these days.
Did u try to ask to urself dat how.long wl i b paying for these debt(s)?
Wt if sumthng goes wrong lyk i get hospitalized or sum1 dear to me gets sick? Do i hve da necessary fund?

PS: I'm not connected to any Life insurance companies lyk manulife or sunlife. I'd just want to share this to everyone to open up their minds. Some wud say that life is short/yolo.hehe
    Good day!

    still learning up to now.

you'll seriously take savings into regard once you see the reality of things. and by reality, i mean ang brutal truths in life. the ugly ones. just started around 2014-ish, katong work-school mode pa ko. i've already anticipated what i'm putting myself into financially, pero wa gihapon ko kasagang sa expenses. kinalisuran. lol. would've been convenient if i asked financial assistance sa ginikanan nko, but i didn't. post-rebellion phase, that's why. i carried over some of the traits that i acquired during those times like self-reliance.

eventually, i had to compromise and let go sa mga unnecessaries. i've had many stupid mistakes at first that i regret at the end of the day asking myself "why did i bought this?!"

but kadugayan nka-adjust rko. prior to change of mindset, i don't mind where to spend money on grocery kay lage kumpyansa kaayo nga naay madawat nga sweldo. but after that, i've been conscious. i look for better deals pra makaminus, like sa thru legit online shopping sites (lazada). i would buy discounted toiletries in bulk that would last for months, at a lesser price compared sa malls. big difference. bati-on kog kaanyag pirmi basta naay online sale. hahaha

Saving money is not easy when you dont have the discipline of resisting unnecessary spending and borrowing money. Otherwise, saving is very addicting which for me is a good habbit. Always save something for the rainy days and for your bright future.

Naay MP2 ang Pag-ibig. - Kani forced nga savings nga ma.claim ra nmu after 5 years (maturity). Inig start, mgset ka ug reoccurring deposit (monthly/every 15th/ or set nga date) for a specified amount - lets say every month 2k. - So in 1 year - 24k na, then inig maturity X5 = 120k na... Remember, ma.claim ra ni inig maturity, before mg.mature, dli nmu matarug ang funds. In case dli ka ka.deposit for a month, OK ra, wlay deduction, wlay problem.
Dli lng ko sure if ma.adjust ba ang amount sa monthly deposit. I.google lang, Pag-Ibig MP2. daghan articles online naay guidlines.

saving money is not very easy. as what @ace101 said above. Agree ko ani. need ka ug discipline sa imong self... kung unsa imong gihulog, dili sa nimo igasto. Kung dili makontrol ang desire nimu na mukuha sa imong tinigum, aw walay kwinta ang imong tinigum.

buy what you need, not what you want ....

    best example is this -

    VS.

samsung only is 8k. while the iphone is 30k+ ..

both can let you call or text. both can let you watch youtube and both can use skype or facebook or viber.

so, if you have 30k in hand, be practical, buy the samsung and you still have 22k left in your pocket.
sakto jud boss..ang sobra pwd pa nato ipa massage.
