True, report that to Facebook. If it's really serious ask help from NBI, they will be the one to request the IP address from Facebook. Facebook has a log of all the users accessing their respective accounts.

If it's an email, depending on the email server used in sending the email.... there are a lot of online sites that can help you trace the origin of the email.

Agree pud ko ani, its better if i report na lang nmo sa NBI, kay if its serious, bacn pwede i file as criminal case, ma priso pa ang ga imporsonate pra ka tilaw jd ba.

Your best bet is to report it to FB as only the FB admins will have the proper tools to trace the accounts user to the source IP. Even the NBI would have no way of tracing an individual FB user's IP address without first asking for help from FB, unless that person's e-mail address were available. And even then it would still be difficult especially if that person knew how to cover his tracks with proxies, free e-mail services, etc.

Guys sure ba na ma trace sa nbi ang mga fake fb account..naa man gyud nagbinuang naku duha ka fake fb under my real name and pictures naku..nakig chat pa sa mga taga ibang bansa..naipa block na naku sa fb..
Ang ako question ma trace pa ba gihapon sa nbi bisan naka block na ang mga fake accounts.
