How to keep flies (langaw) off your dog any suggestions here?

i had the same problem with my dogs, my basset hound was the first then followed by my pit then lab then spaniels. Most of the flies stay on the back while some on the ear tips and these flies were biting and sucking blood (biting midges). I really had tried a lot of shampoos but only the BEARING tick and flea (RED one) seemed to be the most effective.Immediately after the first bath kay wala nay langaw nga nitugpa.
