This is my share for this thread;

During my young day's my parents will do this things on/before my Birthday.

1.0 Prepare a good chicken's( we called it maglaming sa bisaya).
2.0 On the day of my birthday they will call me near the post of our house, dig a hole beside it, cut the neck of the chicken that they previously prepared, using the blood of the chicken then put a signed of a cross on my forehead. buried the blood of the chicken beside the house post.
3.0 Cook the chicken and enjoyed the party !

I don't know what is the reason behind it, but now a days that tradition is already gone.

kung mo ingon kag mag laming...dili nana nimo i feed ang chicken for a day or days before nimo ihawon...

kanang mag ihaw2.. its not only chicken..pwede ng baboy...that is called PADUGO... it is believed to drive away the bad luck and brings blessings to the house...

kasagaran nga ritual karung panahona TS, kung mag rent ka kay naa jud kay 2mos deposit ug 1 month advance..kung mupalit ka dapat makabayad kas equity... kanang duha ka ritual sigurado ang padugo ana sa imung bulsa..
