^^ speaking of,
i've been to most of Mindanao for both work and leisure, and ma-amaze ko how a lot of people there were born to Cebuano ancestors (parents, grandparents, etc..). Everytime they find out that i'm from Cebu, their usual reply is..taga Cebu baya akong lolo, taga Cebu akong mama.. and etc.
I even went as far deep south as Glan, Sarangani, pinakatumoy na jud sa Mindanao, and i was thinking it will be a totally different place, only to find out bisaya kaayo ang mga taw didto![]()
nice places to visit:
Lakewood in Zamboanga del Sur
Gumasa beach in Sarangani
Maria Cristina Falls and Tinago Falls in Iligan
Dahilayan in Bukidnon

from what i know, during early times there was this migration of visayans towards mindanao island. settled there and established themselves on that part of the philippines. mao na nga naa gyuy traces sa mga tga cebu or from other islands here in visayas. so thats why bisaya is a widely used language in that place.
