Ga consider ko sa 4TB seagate ug 2TB toshiba. Nangita ko ug 3TB na toshiba pero wla koy nakit-an.

Seagate for me. Pwede rasad ka mo check sa mga reviews online bro, a lot tends to pick Seagate. Pero it all boils down to warranty. I myself have been using 1tb Seagate drive for almost 4 years now as my game drive, still hasn't failed me yet.

Ang ganahan nko sa seagate kay naa sila 4TB. Sa warranty ang ako nahibaw-an kay ang WD ang pinka dugay which is 3yrs limited warranty. Naa ko feedbacks nakuha na lig-on jud daw ang toshiba compared sa 2.

Ang ako man gud WD 2TB na guba kadto ni crash ako laptop. At that time pareha nka connect ang ako WD 2TB ug WD 1TB. Pero ang 1TB wla ra na unsa.

Idk lang ha, pero I've heard(correct me if I'm wrong) that taas ug failure rate the higher the capacity. Or maybe dd2 sa 2TB nka install imo OS, and during the crash, corrupted the drive, or drive failure caused the crash itself. WD has higher capacity naman sad. Try their Green, for storage pusposes lang jud. Speed is horrid if used for other than storage.

Yes bro, laen2 na ang purpose sa color coding sa WD.

Green is purely storage for it's slow rpm sa disk.

Blue is for everyday use.

Black ilang main performance nga disk, paspas ang transfers.

Red for reliability, mainly for servers, durable sya.

for me, I'll pick Toshiba anytime (kay barato)... my FreeNAS server is running 24/7 since Feb 2013... 4+ yrs and counting na sya nag Dagan ug 24/7... 4 x 2 TB Toshiba 7,200 rpm desktop drives ra gamit nko sa FreeNAS server then configured to individual HDD sila...

akoang mga personal desktop pud kay the same HDD brand and model akoang gamit pud sa akoang storage drive.

about the transfer time, dili man ta maka bantay ana kay milliseconds lang ang difference basta the same spindle speed lang. Makita ra nato ang difference kun mag benchmark. in actual world use, dili gyud ta maka bantay... except, kun i-compare nato ang 7,200 rpm drives vs the 5,200 or 5,400 rpm HDD.

para sa akoa, ang importante kay ang price ug ang warranty...

mas ok ang WD BOSS kai lig.on jd .. pro mg dipindi na kng asa nmo gamiton kai ang WD naa mn gd nah color coding.. naa clai pang server nga color. naa sd cla pang personal lng , naa sd pang back up sa camera..
