wala nay SB-215, or should i say gi ammend na siya into SB-1305 sa senate ug mao na karon ang gahuwat ug pirma sa president.. to be effective anytime soon.. and yes pwede ma allocate up to 30 days sa amahan ang leave, meaning nga mo trabaho ang asawa nya ikaw ang magbantay sa imong anak for 30 days...
If my interpretation is correct,, mothers can avail at least 120 days of payed maternity leave with an option to extend another 30 but without pay, except if solo parent kay with pay ang whole 150 days (120 + 30 days extension)...
Those working in the government will receive full pay during sa ilang leave, while katong naa sa private sector will receive at least 2/3 sa ilang sweldo..
and also pwede ma allocated ang 30 days maternity leave sa amahan over and above sa regular paternity nga 7 days meaning nga posible naay maximum nga 37 payed leave ang amahan, 7 days paternity + 30 days allocated maternity meaning nga ang amahan ang mobantay while mag trabaho ang asawa.. pwede pud sa alternative caregivers i allocate..
sure nana ang mga numbers, but as to the application or the rules para mka avail ta ana kay himuan pa na'g IRR sa DOLE, CSC ug SSS.. maghuwat lang ta.. so pugong2 sa ta'g kadyot hahaha..
manganakay akong misis 4th quarter this year.. palihug paspasi tawn ni ninyo congress!!!
In other countries the government would provide a helper or nany for free for those who recently gave birth.
In Sweden, parents get 480 days of PAID parental leave usable up to a child's 8th birthday... apart from monthly allowance of children, free schooling, free healthcare among others.. that's what they get from their government who takes more than 50% of their income to tax.. what do you guys think? worth it?
