    Default Powerline, instead of wifi?

Is powerline better than wifi? Anyone here tried using Powerlines (available in Cebu are only TP Link Brands)? If so, what's your experience and is this better AC wifi connection?

they have their own pro's and con's...

anyways, are you trying to compare powerline vs wireless '802.11ac' connections?

powerline exist for those who have premise(s)/house(s) that is either big/wide area, or have very thick walls that will absorb the signal.
powerline relies on your electrical foundations also, if they are badly engineered/wired, then you'll have headaches.
powerline is for those houses/premise that you have extreme difficulty laying out your LAN cables or impossible to bore holes due to rented houses or just dont allow 'remodelling', or too long to reach it.

just think of a powerline as a 'very long' extention of your LAN!!!

wifi on the other hand, distance is from long range (802.11a) to to short range (802.11ac), yet long range tend to have slow speed and short range tends to have the fastest speeds.
So for long range to short its, a/b/g/n/ac
and for slowest speed to high speed its, ac/n/g/b/a
wifi signal decreases on distance and it will decrease more with walls/barriers.

for me if you ask..., I'll combine both to get the best of it (^_^)

    Powerline vs WiFi
Unsa diay naa sa powerline... wirefull diay na... dili diay na mohata og wireless internet connection, so dili wifi?

Kidding aside... i guess you meant wireless router vs powerline.
Para nako... powerlines are working like range extenders.
Gi-extend ra sa powerline B ang wifi sa powerline A so nahulog og mas-wider siya'g coverage area.

In a sense, mura'g nindot kay you get 2 wifi devices at the price of one.

Durability-wise, i believe wireless routers are longer lasting.
So mas in favor ko on wireless routers. Just have to place it in the right spot of the house.

naa pud koi range extender, ang down side niya kai taas ug ping from device (e.g. laptop) padung sa router/access point

I got mine for 2 years already. I got 2 powerline/powerplug sa akong room. I'm using 1 for my room LAN sa akong laptop para mas paspas compare sa WiFi and the 2nd one I use it for my Philips Hue since it needs LAN.

My Phones, I-Pad, and Amazon Alexa uses the wifi..

    I'm using Sineoji 1800Mbps PL1800EP
    HomePlug PL1800EP - Sineoji
