As what i've learned from past HR Managers and GM:

In the engineering industry, people always come and go.
Its the footprints you leave behind, the connections you made, and the skills that you gained that matters.
As long as you don't burn bridges, you can always move forward.

Flour Cebu is indeed not perfect. It does not pay overtime, lisud mu regular and has the worst employee retention. The whole general public must know. No cover ups whatsoever, move ons, pandaot etc. Just the whole truth that ang readers sa istorya.net must know. Thats all...

base sa imung logic, which is to tell the whole truth:

Wala bayad ang overtime if ang tao mismo nag stay sa office then nag extend work na walay pananghid.
A member cannot declare overtime by himself. There's a due process to follow.

Naay bayad ang overtime if giprocess sa saktong channels and the pay have a range of 1.3 to 2.69 multiplier.
The number of overtime hours varies from project to project.
The multiplier varies for every employment status.

If a member declared it themselves that they deserve to be payed overtime but they did not go through the process of overtime approval, of course there's no pay.
When they were not paid, what do they do? They rant.
It's like asking to be payed even if the other party does not acknowledge it.

The Company has been very lenient on the overtime approval.
Even if you apply after you rendered overtime, the immediate supervisor would still likely to sign it if the conditions are met.
So there's really no excuse not to get paid.

Unless if the project has no provision for overtime but the member persist to get paid for his "efforts".
Knowing this, the member should have not extended at all.
    There's the problem right there.

    Bottomline:
    No approval, no pay
This is not even a Fluor exclusive rule.
It is a common rule applied by many companies.

^^ This one, I do agree...

So if mo overtime unya walay proper approval, unya dili magpa bayad ug OT... ahhmm.. dili na problema sa management.

    Spoiler!
