Unfortunately, morientes dont have credit for this Champinos league because he is not allowed to play because he played for Madrid during the first half of the season. Maybe he has some contribution during trainings.

Most spanish clubs are rooting for liverpool because many players and the manager are from Spain.

Btw, I saw giunsa pagkulata ang Milan sa PSV in the 2nd league. Awesome game specially the asian players park and lee. At least I know that Milan is not invincible.

    an interview with ZIDANE

What rival of the four games left is the most difficult?
Probably Sevilla. However I think all the games are going to be difficult. For example, Racing when they come to play at Bernabéu, they will be liberated, they don´t risk anything, they don´t have that pressure. The four games left are complicated, but surely the hardest will be in Seville.

Racing of Santander are playing very well in their last games.
That´s why next Saturday we expect to have a complicated game. Two weeks ago they won against Deportivo with 1-4. We cannot relax. All the rivals are complicated.
Luxemburgo wanted the team to stay alive for the last four games of the Championship because then a mini-league would be starting between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Do you see this final period like that?
I don´t know, it really depends on what happens next Saturday at Bernabéu, if ew are capable of winning against Racing at home. And it will also depends on Barcelona losing at Mestalla.

Roberto Carlos says that for him the last game of the League played byBarcelona against Real Sociedad, does not exist. What do you think it could happen if Barcelona would reach their last game playing for the title?
He sighes) I don´t know, the truth is that we must go step by step. To think about the next game and then little by little to think about the rest.

What do you talk about the League in the changing room? What do the players say?
The truth is that we don´t talk much about that. We know what we must do, what we risk, that we must work little by little to achieve that objective. This season we have lost two or three games that upset us, especially at Bernabéu.

Would you say to those who sing the victory song from Barcelona?
I don´t have anything to say. Everybody is free to do what they want. I´m only worried for winning our games, starting from next Saturday. You never know what can happen.

Luxemburgo says that he doesn´t believe in luck, only in work, do you relieve in luck?
Not much. I think you win when you work, when you do things well to achieve your objective. The luck can influence a bit. We are not where we are thanks to the luck, but because of our daily work.

If Madrid win the title, would it be a great season? Of course, we are working for it, to achieve titles each season. If we win the League, well for some people it´s nothing, but for us it´s a lot.

After the news about your health, we received in our office many supportive messages, have you feel that support from the fans?
Yes, I have felt it and I´m very happy because that jeans that the people love the players and they support us when these things happen. I want to thank the fans, all the people supporting me and who have sent me their affectionate messages. It was very important for me.

La Liga: Magnificent Seven for Real

    - Real Madrid kept up the pressure on leaders Barcelona by notching up their seventh win in a row with a crushing 5-0 victory at home to lowly Racing Santander on Saturday.
A neatly worked goal from Michael Owen and a penalty from Ronaldo set Real on the way in the first half. Skipper Raul capped his best performance of the season with a second-half double and Ronaldo completed an emphatic win with a fine solo effort in stoppage time.

The victory left Real three points behind Barcelona with three games to play after this weekend's matches.

The Catalans have the additional advantage of knowing that if the two teams finish level on points at the end of the season they will win the title thanks to their better head-to-head record.

Barca do not play until Sunday but have a tough away match against last season's champions Valencia who need a win to boost their chances of earning a Champions League place.

Real took the lead against a timid-looking Racing when they completed a lightning break with a slickly worked goal just before the half hour.

Raul raced through the midfield, lofted the ball over the Racing defence to Ronaldo who cut a first-time pass back towards Owen and the England striker scored his 12th goal of the season when he guided with the outside of his foot.

Five minutes later Real were awarded a controversial penalty when referee Eduardo Iturralde Gonzalez penalised Racing keeper Aouate after he palmed the ball away from Ronaldo and collided with the Brazilian striker who had gone in with his foot high.

Ronaldo scored his 100th league goal in Spain when he hit the spot-kick high into the net.

Raul added a third when he drilled home after Aouate had palmed a Roberto Carlos cross into his path eight minutes after the break.

The Real skipper then fired a low shot into the corner after Owen had picked him out on the edge of the area.

Ronaldo put the icing on the cake in stoppage time when he scored his 20th of the season, rounding Aouate with a trademark shimmy and rolling the ball into the empty net after a perfectly weighted through ball from substitute Luis Figo.

In the game against Racing, Bernabéu experienced one of these great nights where everything went in their favour. The result, the show, the effectiveness…and even the statistics. With 1-0, Michael Owen scored the number 2,500 goal in the League for Real Madrid. On the other hand, Raúl and Ronaldo beat their personal records in the Championship. The Brazilian player went over 100 goals whilst the player from Madrid reached the 250 goals in the different competitions.

The Captain rounded off a great night, one of those nights giving a good show and making people enjoy football. Out of these five goals scored by Real Madrid, Raúl created two magnificent passes that ended up in the net (Owen and Ronaldo), and he also scored another two goals. With the first goal, he scored the number 250 goal of his sporting career with Real Madrid. The second goal served to beat a new personal record: with 74 goals, he is the highest scorer of the League in this century.
Raúl leads the ranking of scorers in the last five seasons, ahead of the current Pichichi (top scorer) of the League, Samuel Eto’o, with 72 goals. With 67 follow Ronaldo and Tamudo (Espanyol), whilst Diego Tristán (Deportivo) already has 66 goals.
    HIS 250 GOASS:
    League: 175.
    Cup: 15.
    Championship: 49.
    Spanish SuperCup: 7.
    Intercontinental: 1.
    European SuperCup: 1.
    Clubs Championship: 2.

The best forwarder of the world didn´t want to be less and proved that he deserves to hold that title. He also helped his team with two of the five goals scored by Real Madrid, Ronaldo rounded off also a great night against Racing. With 2-0, the Brazilian star achieved the number 100 goal in the Spanish division; with the 5-0 he went over it. But the record does not finish there. Thanks to his two goals against Racing, Ronie became the most effective scorer in the last 40 years of League history.
He has scored 101 goals in 131 games, with a 0.77 average per game, this is, three goals every tour games played. Ronaldo is the only footballer capable of maintaining the scoring average of the first period of the Spanish League, the average of Lángara, Bata, Zarra, Puskas, Mundo or Mariano MartÃ*n. Actually, the Brazilian player has the best historic average after these six players, among the 65 players who have scored more than 100 goals in the championship.
Ronaldo is therefore, the best scorer of the League in the last 40 years. Nobody in all these years have got closer to his average (0.77 goals per game). Only shadowed by Hugo Sánchez (0.67).

HIS 101 GOALS IN THE LEAGUE:
    Season 96-97: 34.
    Season 02-03: 23.
    Season 03-04: 24.
    Season 04-05: 20.
