I disagree. Jim Buss can be fired and should've been fired a long time ago.

Jeanie Buss is the team president and governor compared to her brother Jim who is only the executive vice president and alternate governor.

She has the supreme power in the organization and is on top of the food chain so she can absolutely fire Jim from his position.

Jim will always be around though as he is a part owner of the team but that is a conversation for another day.

The point here is that Jim Buss can absolutely be fired. He needs to go. They need to follow what Dr.Jerry Buss did, just be a great owner and leave basketball decisions to people who actually know basketball.

Carmelo Anthony,Deandre Jordan,Lamarcus Aldridge,Hassan Whiteside,Al Horford and we cant even get a meeting with KD last offseason. The best that we can do was Timofey "Mr. $64 million contract,not better than Ivica Zubac" Mozgov and Luol Deng. So the CBA thing is not an excuse.

After Jim Buss is fired? then try to get someone who is competent enough to make basketball decisions. Someone who is not egotistic and is not afraid to ask help and advice from people who know basketball.

And... what assurance do you have that Jim's replacement will blow up the whole roster? If Jims replacement is competent enough then he would not do that.

I mean,honestly speaking, The Lakers still suck. Yes we have a core of young guys with potential but its not like DRuss,Julius Randle and Brandon Ingram are clear transcendent players like MJ,Lebron,Shaq,Duncan,KAT,Porzingis etc.

What could go wrong? not that much actually. You seem to forget we still suck ATM.

The worst thing that could happen is if we end up like Brooklyn but only an insane person would follow their footsteps so thats close to impossible to happen.

So yeah there's much to possibly gain and little to lose if we kick Jim out.
