PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE BUSHCRAFT CAMP

Place: Babag Mountain Range, Cebu City, PI
Description: The second episode of the PIBC to be held in a hitherto unknown nook of the Babag Mountain Range which is designated as “Camp Damazo”. This is a three-day affair with the impetus towards the learning of certain wilderness skills and refreshing our love of country.

DAY 1
10:00 – Assembly, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish

12:00 – Leave Guadalupe for Baksan via Bebut’s Trail
13:30 – Arrive Baksan, rest and rehydrate
13:45 - Leave Baksan for Camp Damazo
15:00 - Arrive Camp Damazo, rest & rehydrate
15:15 – Explore camp, pitch tents/sleeping quarters
16:00 – Prepare dinner
18:00 – Dinner time
19:30 – Socials, PIBC overview

What to Bring: Survival knife/jungle knife/multi-tool set, cook set, camp stove, at least 3 liters water, spoon-fork set, safety matches/lighter, cell phone, flashlight & batteries, extra clothes and socks, tent, sleeping bag, tarpaulin, etc.
Other Info: Participation is limited. Registration fee is P800.00 to include six (6) meals, PIBC T-shirt, PIBC Certificate, literature handouts and the use of the facilities of Lanipao Rainforest Resort.
