    Business Systems Analyst

    Responsibilities:
    • Hands-on technical work including relational design, SQL coding, stored procedures, interface integration (ETL) work, testing, deployment and other support activities
    • Support a wide variety of systems from a Level 2 and Level 3 perspective
    • Participate in re-factoring existing code for greater stability, consistency and maintainability
    • Maintain consistent development methodology, processes and templates, documentation and audit requirements, application code management and testing tools and strategies
    • Engaging on and challenging requirements while designing and supporting solutions based on technical knowledge of application (web and client server) and database architectures
    • Employ efficient development processes to produce high quality, maintainable solutions
    • Remain current on standards, technologies, approaches and methodologies
    • Consistently apply the concept of continuous improvement
    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years working experience supporting systems at Level 3 (development)
    • Minimum 3 years working experience supporting systems at Level 2 (support)
    • Minimum 3 years working experience developing with SQL as a backend and/or SQL scripting (v2008 – 2012)
    • Experience with relational database structures and methodologies
    • Proven ability to multitask both independently and within a team
    • Excellent English communication (both written and oral)
    • Applicable undergraduate degree or Designation in Computer Science or equivalent experience
    • Ability to understand business process requirements and, through the use of technology, conceptualize creative solutions through to implementation
    • Experience in financial industry
    • Action oriented, creative and proactive thinker
    • Successful candidate will have strong development knowledge and experience in at least 5 of the following technologies:
    o MS SQL
    o Informatica development (or related ETL tools)
    o CA Work Load Automation
    o VB.NET
    o ASP.NET
    o Perl Scripts
    o MS Visual Studio
    o MS Access
    o C#
    o Lotus Notes
    o Java
    o Salesforce
    o Microstrategy
