yup, dharsam is right. encountered it on my shop already. you can download music or pics on it. but not games or even mp4 movies.

how come? is this a restriction of the firmware? or quality issue of the memory stick? been checking out on other forums but most case are caused by class A ms and we know that they are not reliable for this type of test....

i think kanang issue sa mga memstick na di mabasa is kadto nang mga new models nila.
my cousin bought a memstick in the US nya gipadala diri, gi taud namo sa iya PSP dili siya matarong ug basa. So my cousin opted to go to Sony service center bringing the memstick and ang taga Sony manager and technicians na jud ni ingon nga kadto na model is new and wala pa diri sa pinas. The memstick doesn't have any problems since it can be read on card readers and cameras. They checked the model name/number and wala pa jud daw to diri sa pinas.
So I guess new models sa memstick dili siguro fully compatible sa PSPs. Basin designed pud siguro na sa mga cams nila.
