and btw, I will be using a temporary vga monitor lang sa karon. and as what i've heard, walay analog signal sa dvi ang gtx 1060 nga card.

afaik-gamay kaayo ang power handling capacity sa hdmi port(gamay pa sa usb port before enumeration) so i dont think hdmi to vga will work properly, unless externally-powered type sya.

Walay vga port man tngali ang gtx 1060. HDMI, VGA ug Dispaly Port ray available siguro. Di compatible imu monitor sa video card

Most of the newer cards now have digital ports especially DVI-D.murag di na sila mo support for the analog outputs.Even the lower end RX 460's and GTX 1050's do not support analog ports VGA,DVI-I.ganahan baya kog VGA port ky mao nay naandan nako.

Careful with the output connectors gyud. Ended up paying 850 worth of adapters para lang mo dagan akong gtx 1050 ti.

(didn't check the difference between dvi-s, dl-dvi + my monitor's hdmi port is defective).

Anyhoo, will be using THAT same adapter when I get home and I'll update the thread if it works.

Also, di kaayo ko mo suggest sa imong PSU. Tier 4 na siya, mostly for office use and not for gaming. Naa'y naka post ana diri before nga gipatay iya components sa lightning due to bad PSU (THAT power supply to be exact). Damaged his HDD, GPU ug mobo.
