i think this goes the same for women too..
we are not exempted from this situation..

i've fallen prey into this kind of situation and it truly hurts..beyond words..
however i don't think that this is exclusive to MEN.women can be guilty of such thing too..

but sticking to the topic, why MEN go astray.. well maybe because not all men (and women) are mature enough to stand by his or her decisions..
i do believe that when u push something too hard ,it might happen but it might not be the right time for it..

like a guy may have a girlfriend for years and years..( but then the # of years is not an assurance that u WILL end up with each other.)
then somewhere along the way, he might meet somebody which can make him say that it is what he is looking for... that maybe, it is love..

now that is reality..there is no way of stopping forces like that from happening..it is something inevitable..
wala man tingali sayup ana..nothing is wrong with falling in in LOVE.. it is an unstoppable force..

what will make it wrong is, if the guy will continue the relationship with the girlfriend-for-years and start a relationship with the new girl he loves.

so he will HAVE to make a decision..whether to continue the long-term relationship or to have another chance at love

that is where the maturity of the guy comes in..

how mature enough is he to make a decision and stand with what he has decided..

because after all.. love is not just a feeling but a decision..

"beyond words".lol.sometimes infatuation sets in and we easily get caught in its deception. we both thought we had it going. even to the point of her saying that "i'm still here for you"....what was funny though looking back at it was I was willing to give up everything in just a single throw to be with her...and somehow she felt the same..but i guess it was hard for her to continue....maybe guilt seeped in on her and she didn't want to tore a family apart. i did make a decision and it felt right for that time but as the clouds parted and all the dust settled it made me realize that i was probably one of the luckiest guys alive to have a lovely and understanding wife to take me back again....what happened was a feeling and I have made a decision.
