here in saudi it's much much worst. here we have a lending company but you need to present your iqama ( expat i.d. ) in order for you to avail a loan. but some pinoys here try to make all the drama in the world; crying and begging to ask their fellow to pinoy to use their iqama.

it's like this. Juan needs a loan, so he asks Pedro to help him and use Pedro's Iqama to get a loan. so, in the lending office, officially, it was Pedro who got the loan but it was Juan who used the money. here comes the facked up part. After getting and spending the money, Juan vanished or will always promise that he will pay the amount. Now, technically speaking, Juan is free but Pedro is in danger becoz it was his Iqama that was in the lending office

we have a lot of situations like that here, some even have as big as 20k riyals of loan.

and as for that Painter on the first post, pinoys who do sidelines here earn a lot. like a minimum of 500 riyals per day, multiply it by 30 that would be 15000 per month. but sadly, they're still poor coz they don't manage their money well, mostly, they spend it on pinays, having multiple relationships at the same time and the pinays here are bilmoko-prostitutes daghan sad ko nailhan mga ing-ani ug situation.

bottom line, it's not becoz of the downfall of saudi that there are a lot of filipinos that are suffering back home - it's the pinoys themselves that is to blame.
True story. Its because the lack of financial literacy sa culture sa Pinoy. No plans and deal with it later attitude.

Most of the people I know that works outside PH are broke, literally or no investment. Savings account is zero monthly, even though more than a decade working outside the country. Something is wrong here and I think the government should educate our people about finance.
