Applications Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing software solutions and integrating them with Teradyne testers and peripheral equipment
• Create Solutions that are critical for Teradyne customers to run Teradyne testers in the high volume production environment
• Collect data from customer implementations, analyze the problems and recommend solutions
• Creating specific software solutions that are used in production environments with Visual Basic, C language or industry programming languages
• Be able to work with the internal teams to improve production integration and production data collection processes

Basic Qualification, Skills and Experiences

• BS Electronics and Computer Engineering or equivalent course
• 1 to 2 years of product engineering experience in IC component testing is an advantage
• Prior programming experience on Teradyne ATE platform is an advantage
• Strong programming foundation with good problem solving skills
• Handler/prober drivers knowledge with experience in customizing Operator Interfaces
• Able to work on Microsoft Windows and Unix systems
• Knowledge of C or Visual Basic programming
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language
• Recent College graduates will be considered for junior positions
