    Good day.

I wish your best friend all the luck she needs.

Anyhoo, if the father refuses to provide the necessary help, specially for the welfare of the baby, ma consider na ug violence against women. With the mother being ill, the baby will be at critical risk.

Republic Act 9262 | Philippine Commission on Women

    Section 3-D

    Withdrawal of financial support or preventing the victim from engaging in any legitimate profession, occupation, business or activity, except in cases wherein the other spouse/partner objects on valid, serious and moral grounds as defined in Article 73 of the Family Code;

(To moderators: Let me know lang kung dli pwede or basin pwede then sa lain lang nga category dapat.)

This is for my best friend (not an istoryan) who is confined in CHH Mandaue at room 717w.
She's pregnant (a single parent) but has complications sa kidney nya because of her Urinary Tract Infection.
The baby is already 3 months plus - naanay heartbeat and it's a girl.

My best friend is the family's bread winner too since wala na syay father.
She's also supporting her siblings as well and her old aged mother.

Kung kinsa ninyo ang naay kind nga heart nga naa pwede ma spare any amount. Please let me know.
I've been trying to crowdfund sa www.gofundme.com but dli man diay pwede since para US raman diay didto.
I hope we can help her.

    Thanks istorya.
I think all you need to ask for help is from the government, especially in this case since she is affected with a very known viral churva.

Would be great if you can report this to DOH or any health related government agencies.

Anyways, all I can do is to bump this thread. Would also be great if you can update us, not just for the sake of chicka but for information as well.

    Thanks,

just curious though since it refers to Art 73 of EO 209 which falls under Title III - Rights and Obligation Between Husband and Wife it refers to Husband and Wife, i had an discussion ani before sa usa ka lawyer when i attended a seminar on RA 9262... when will the Man be obligatory to financially support a Woman...

What if the Man is already married to a different woman?, there was not a clear answer but it was firmed that the man will have to support the Child and not the mother unless they are married... though under RA 9262 they did include that Girlfriend... duka2x sad raba ko ato nga seminar...

though cant confirm if this can stand on court, better ask a lawyer for this particular...

Pakataw-hon pa tingale ang bata then DNA test dayon,
to prove nga iyaha gyud na, by law maorag kinahanglan na mo-support ang amahan bisan pa ug illegitimate.

Sakto haha. Actually my friend who studied law said applicable daw, even if they're not married. I'm not a lawyer nor a student of one, so di ko sure. It's best if you speak to a lawyer jud haha

You're right thanks for the heads up.

The discovery of the presence of fetal cells in maternal blood has offered new approaches to non-invasive prenatal diagnosis. By analyzing DNA profiles based on sets of specific markers, the laboratory is able to compare a fetal DNA profile with genetic DNA profiles of the mother and alleged fathers.

    Puwede na pa-testing.
