Product Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reports to Product Engineer Manager
• Responsible for assigned customer accounts
• Study, introduce and transfer new products and technologies from customers to manufacturing.
• Plan, prepare and manage team activities to support new product startups.
• Generate and release Process Flowchart and Process Control methods.
• Cooperate with PDE for Bill of Materials verification, indirect material usage, etc.
• Support Manufacturing Dept. with Manufacturing Package, Work instruction, ECO or TA and other required documents i.e. Drawing, Template for Production use.
• Support Manufacturing Dept. with equipment, tooling, jigs and fixtures in design, modification and installation of the assembly process.
• Support Manufacturing Dept. by conducting required training for Production Supervisors and Operators.
• Support, instruct and monitor closely along with Manufacturing Dept. all built First Article Samples.
• Support Mechanical and Fabricated Parts Verification process.
• Support Manufacturing Dept. with Labeling, Packing, Creating design and instruction.
• Raise ECR, ECO Analysis, and Implement ECO upon customer's change request or order.
• Dispose NCMR and represent the department in all MRB activities.
• Represent department in working with cross-functional Team for First Pass Yield Improvement Activities.
• Represent department in all daily customer team meetings.
• Respond to all customer queries as well as feedback or recommendation.
• Supervise and provide training to Technicians and Clerks on routine jobs.
• Support Quality Standard requirement i.e. ISO9000, ISO14000, 5S, SPC etc.
• Support Company Policy and all Safety Measures.
• Perform other jobs as assigned by immediate Supervisors, Management
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• At least 1 yr work experience
• Special Skills: Computer Software / Microsoft Office
• Preference for previous working experience in Thailand and/or conversational knowledge in Thai.

The successful candidates must be a qualified person with a proven track record of success within a similar type role in electronics industries. Having a strong business knowledge, management skills, an ability to work independently, self-driven professional, focused on delivering targeted results.
This position is to support the manufacturing site as a part of our operations expansion.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for all of the company's engineering and technical support activities covering all engineering functions of product, process, equipment, test and test development; and works closely with other functional leaders in the company, including those in Manufacturing, QA, Materials, Finance, Sales and Marketing.
• Develop Process/Product / Test Engineering goals in terms Quality/Cost/Service/People Development.
• Emphasis use of systematic tools and approach to Problem preventions, PFMEA/DFM/DFT /Process Design Guides in Engineering Mgmt.
• Develop direct reports (Senior Manager/Manager) providing problem-solving coaching and mentoring, systematic section team management with key emphasis of zero defect approach.
• Seek technical help from others both internally/externally where problem-solving knowledge does not exist with dept.
• Drive Continuous improvement activity in Yield / Scrap cost / LAR /PPM by weekly /monthly reviews.
• Support reduction of manual process via automation.
• Develop strong engineering teams to enable day to day problem solving are handled in systematic ways.
• Must be able to work with all functional departments in a collaborative approach.
Desired Skills and Experience
• BS in Electrical Engineering or other related management fields, a Master's degree preferred.
• At least 15 years engineering experience in electronics manufacturing environment. EMS, Automotive or Medical experience is preferable.
• Solid understanding of engineering technical issues/needs as related to production.
• Strong operational and project management skills.
• Demonstrated team building and leadership skills.
• Good communication is English.
