Hontiveros spelled the difference in the third quarter. The training Seigle and Hontiveros underwent with the RP Team really paid off, nisamot kamaayo ang duha. Good thing Villanueva was able to step up in their very first game of the season, gamit na kaayo ni siya especially now that Dorian Peña is sidelined.

Jonas Villanueva didn't play. Eman was very impressive both offense and defense. He once blocked Arwind Santos' attempted dunk. A lot of potential in this kid, future center for the Nat'l Team...

D man sya injured, coach decision ra to. Tenorio is their best PG and Racela obviously can still play. Maybe Siot saw it's unnecessary to field in Jonas V. coz it's a close and heated game. Tenorio and Racela are proven as team stabilizers. Plus it's opening night and expectations for Magnolia to win is so high that Siot can't afford any gambles.
