I don't think its ego. normally gud, if you accuse of one person, you present evidence. you ask. dili lang kay mutuo ug chismis or hearsay. basically duterte just showed them the right thing to do, when you accuse someone, present evidence. boom. picture from bud dajo crater

I concur with the atrocities made by the US forces before.
But the original agenda was just an amicable meeting,no demand whatsoever came from the US president asking President Digong to stop what he is doing. He was even asked what if's.

He did mention "p**** ina", a response to that question,
which Obama was represented by the reporter. Actually he addressed it and the presentation of the bud dajo crater which is somehow needs preparation and could be intentional.

kasabot man pud ko sa sentiments sa uban diri. i don't like nor condone his cursing. i don't like it. its not presidentiable. he said he will tone it down once he takes over the position. i don't know but if this is toned down ambot nalang kaha unsay dili toned down ... hehe.

in a perfect world, i could wish for a good leader and a good talker president. but i don't live in a perfect world. i have come to accept that. i'd take his cursing any day all day kaysa sa incompetent and corrupt president. its just the way it is. its what we have. i do wish we could have both.

i am waiting for the day to come when Cayetano comes on board the cabinet and do the talking.

but still i'd wish duterte's choice of words will change.but i think at his age its too much to ask. its just a part of him now. he even himself said nga wag daw tularan siya.

well i can't change your interpretation of it. you have same interpretation sa reporters and media.

i actually saw the interview myself on PTV4, he is known to curse a lot as an expression but not at a directed curse. same situation as the pope curse thing. the way it was said, based on my understanding and interpretation, wasn't really directed to obama nor the pope. he just cursed as an expression of the situation that was mentioned in the interview. but then again, it is always subjected to interpretation. better not to curse at all.

but i do wish he would remove cursing from his interviews, but nah, it would take a miracle. or better yet, let the communications people conduct interviews.

For me one should nurture friendship one should lend an ear for any advice from a friend and amicably respond with your stance and perhaps he could even help,it is just a simple gesture that somehow will not place the relation in peril. So sorry to say but we are not yet as strong even with our neighboring Asian nation we really need a friend for now.

I know we have the best President so far,
but he should consider that we can also gather strength through diplomatic terms.
If he wants unity as per his stance with the Marcoses and the rest then he should practice what he say.

It was time of war, atrocities are common. What about those americans slaughtered during the Balangiga massacre. Atrocities are done by both sides. If you study our history, the US forces helped us against Spain and the Japanese. If not for them perhaps spanish colony pa unta ta karon.
