Correct. And you need to purge your list of bros that bring shame to your organization. For sure, you have some form of discipline in your bylaws. It is a right of any organization (like your frat for example) to revoke memberships specially those that don't live up to your standards of service or behavior.

About the Paseo issue, you can't stop them from imposing a policy against frats or groups from entering. It is also their right.

What happened here is a result of "bad apples" in the basket. That being the case you can take the bad apples out or you can choose to get out. Public perception is not always kind or selective-- it is mostly collective - meaning the public will always associate you with the bad ones even if you're not.

btw... just for my brods to know. USC-ALPHA pud ko, first batch formed by Engr. Ramil Nathan in USC-TC (1990). Our first GS back then was Engr. Dexter Duremdes (who's also now in Singapore - top manangement Fairchild Semiconductor). Served as a faculty adviser to AKP during 1995-1996 (when I was a member of the Computer Engineering faculty).

It sad to know how these things are growing back home. I too felt the need to change the image of AKP, I also don't want to be branded as a troublemaker.

But banning AKP specifically from Paseo's is uncalled for, its clear and simple discrimination towards AKP. How about other violent groups like crips or bloods? Should they be included also?
