kung kahibaw kong sayop akong ginikanan, di ko mu patoo. kung magpataka'g buot-buot akong ginikanan nga wala makig dayalogo, mu reklamo ko.
two words: iron fist. heard of burma?

Why consult the students? Because the students are directly affected in the first place. Just because they're the management that everything that they're doing is right. Naa pud ni mga utok ang mga estudyante and who knows, students have better common sense than the administration and the teachers.. There are somethings that are not really worth it nga rallyhan, debatehan ug istoryahan like the uniform and the haircut. But when it comes to fees, not everybody knows kung asa na gimaputang or para asa ang mga fees. If dili konsultahon ang mga estudyante, then tangtangon na lang unta na nila ang SSC. The administration wants to hear the students concerns and grievances yet when they don't listen. So ironic.
mao gani... because ilang gireklamo ang haircut ug uniform not the fees.Originally Posted by yokam

students paman mo follow lng sa mo.
there's nothing wrong man sad sa mga policies except for the 250 para sa ID.
Haircuts and uniforms ang inyong gi reklamohan? That's pathetic ...
I'm an alumni and a former faculty. I taught for 5 years in TC and one thing nga dili gyud nako ganahan are students with long hair ... although might say that its against your freedom .. pero that has its own limits.
I remember one time we had Japanese visitors to the Campus, and I personally toured them around the CEAC laboratories ... upon seing my students na ang uban walay ligo, gisi2x ug karsones, and sporting long hair ... one Japanese visitor asked me: "Is this how your students normally looked like?"
The one thing that does make an impression when somebody visits the university ... its not about how bright your students are - how how the students behave. And how they look generally makes the first impression ...
one thing dile ko affected brod sa kanang uniform og haircut... isa rako nagpakabana og nag depensa sa mga isduyante...Originally Posted by junmar4

Thats true ... but should it also be about time to think about time to develop the other side of the coin? being educated is one thing ... discipline is another. When I was in college .. I submitted myself to ROTC - you know how we hated those white side walls haircut don't you? But I struggled to be an egghead for my first two years - glad I was able to go through it.
im glad that during my time ROTC was optional... but the thing is the administration should have focused more on education rather than on commercialization. look at the chairs at usc main, hugaw kaayo daghan vandal. look at ang prices sa steylers mahal kaayo, theres this thing on the new i.d na dapat jud na.ay 100 load mo submit ka para ma "valid" imong i.d... this is insane... totally pangwartahay kaayo...Originally Posted by kolz

so are we saying let's put on a show and try to look all neat and disciplined for other people? since when did we use the opinion of others as measuring sticks for our own worth?
are you arguing that we should we should look good so visiting people will have a good impression of us?
so why are we in school then?Originally Posted by kolz
