I don't know if they the church asked for it in the first place,
that message should be confined within the church and it's followers to align with the separation of church and the state.
Well it's already out thanks to the most active media and the message is not coming from the head of state but just a heartfelt view as per Christian ways of responding, anyone may follow or not it's their personal choice.

We still are a predominantly christian nation, hence press releases are technically still within the confines of the church. And youre right, it is a personal choice. The ASG doesnt have any regard with human lives and therefore those who are opposed to their principle should reciprocate, equally. Some folks, like the previous posters, live by religious insights - acts of divinity as they say. If the sovereignty is under patent threat, there must be no questioning as to whether or not the leader declares martial law/lawlessness/no man's land.
