from the torpe society days:

order at a fast food joint. ask about the price of random stuff. whatever the answer of the cashier is, reply "ah mahala gud... grabe pud... kuan nalang..."then wash, rinse, repeat. surprisingly, everytime i did this, the salesgirl, cashier or whatever always ends up laughing.

then order something. and then while waiting for your order, (make sure the people around you heard the noise you were making) turn to a girl and say "di na gyud ko mubalik diri oi... mag minyo na ko para naa koy tigluto." then in a joking tone: " ikaw, kahibaw ka mu luto spaghetti? sige menyo na ta! pero italian style? dili? aw buwag na ta!" etc. add some random funny crap, things you do to your classmates in high school. funny stuff.

acting all smooth doesn't work for me, so i go for being funny.

one thing i don't like about buying women drinks just to start a conversation is that it makes you lower in a sense that you're putting them on a pedestal. imagine, you're spending money just to talk to them. wow. do their words really cost that much? is it really that life changing? look at them as your equals. there are a million better ways to start a convo besides buying them a drink. is your money all you got going for you? how about attract their attention through your wit, charm, energy, your amazing personality.

i know this thread is for pure fun. and i love this thread.

and i don't believe in pick up lines.
