For those who are planning a trip to ilocos
if wala mo kuyog or ma joinan diri you can try joining public tours
    - you can google "ilocos public tour august" (or what month you plan to go) daghan na sa internet, find those agencies nga nag offer public tour, naa sila posted dates and details
    - usually mag start ang tour Thursday night or Friday early morning. 3 days 2 night ang package. ang byahe siguro 10-12 hrs or more from manila. kapoy jud
    - you can also find more public tours and tour operators/organizers/joiners sa travel groups diri sa facebook like BOP, DIYTP, BB
rates ranges 2k+ to 3k+ . you need to pay the downpayment to secure a slot

Another option would be DIY (Do It Yourself) - mao ni ako gi pili
although sometimes kas ug oras, hasol and gasto (kay wala kay ka share sa expense), pero for me, mas adventure jud siya mas lingaw ang struggle, challenging! hahaha you get to talk to locals more, experience local life, di naka mag dali2, di naka mag agad sa lain, you can do anything you want
you may need time to plan your trip. research, research, research
