Tips (from my solo backpacking):
- Visit Sagada Website check the tourism brochure para naa ka idea sa rates and activities
- You might not need contacts kay most likely standard rates ra gihapon.
- When you arrive in Sagada, register and pay a fee sa tourism office, atbang sa town hall, they will help you with your itinerary and answer your queries
- If solo ka or gamay ramo, para maka less sa bayad just leave your number sa tourism office, tell them na nangita ka/mo ug lain kuyog para maka divide sa expenses. mu text ra dayon sila if naay match sa inyo itinerary. dako kaayo kog na save tungod ana plus mas enjoy kaayo labi na lingaw ang mga makuyog.
- better wear an outdoor sandals or hiking shoes na pwede ma basa and basta nindot ug grip kay slippery ang uban part sa trek, naa sad river crossing, slippery sad sa cave and naay part kelangan mag barefoot.
- naay mga tours na kelangan ug transpo ngadto and I always preferred topload
ECHO VALLEY TOUR:
mas better pili-on ang Adventure trail kay ma adtuan ninyo tanan,
daghan river crossing sa adventure trail, so mas better mag sandals/flipflops, or shoes na pwede ma basa.
WATERFALLS:
you need a transpo
Bokong falls is included in adventure trail
Bomok-od Falls is a must visit! medyo layo ang trek pero worth it!
KILTEPAN VIEW:
Sunrise: you might need a transpo para mas dali, better if daghan mo or mangita ug kuyog para maka divide sa bayad sa transpo.
swerte2 ra ang sea of clouds, ampo nalang mo na makakita mo. better to sleep early a night before to get enough rest kay 3-4am mo dapat mu lakaw para maka una mo ug pwesto ngadto make sure na walay maka block sa inyo view, preferably siguro sa ubos dapit, weekdays are better kay dili kaayo daghan tao. Nindot sad mag camp overnight ngadto naa sad area pwede mag camp and bonfire.
Sunset: Pwede diri mag boodlefight, mag watch mo sa sunset then bonfire.
LAKE DANUM:
you might need a transpo
Small brown lake, pwede sad mag camp diri
BOODLE FIGHT (Kiltepan or Lake Danum)
A transpo is provided, medyo pricey pero worth it rasad
Me and my new friends chose Lake Danum,
nag bonfire mi and tilaw2 gamay sa gi sugba (nag inom ang mga guide ug Ginebra 4x4 nakishot lang sad ko haha) naglakaw2 sad mi sa lake, pictorial and they hashesh hahaha
uwan2 ato na time so bugnaw kaay, pag dinner time na we had the pinikpikan and soup with rice wine. since ga uwan, struggle kaayo mi while doing the boodle fight hahaha
MARLBORO COUNTRY
you need a transpo, its a nice place to trek/camp!
CAVES:
Cave connection is nice kung adventurous jud, pero okay rasad kung mag sumaguing lang
try swimming sa pinaka tumoy sa sumaguing cave, ngit2 kaayo and gamay ra mu dare ug swim ngadto hahaha.
pag adto nako mag aso-aso ako breath hahaha amazing kaayo
Accommodation:
Mostly same2 ra ug rates ang mga accommodations ngadto. daghan ra ma pili-an.
I stayed at Residential lodge, their room is just around 200-300/person,
What I like about "Residential lodge" is:
- Location, murag naa siya sa tunga2 sa tanan
- Staff/Owner : Bisaya si Ate Angel, buotan kaayo sila, dali ra ma sturyaan
- Unli Coffee, tea, hot water!
- naay TV hahaha
- WIFI!
adto ko pirme mag tambay sa groundfloor/reception. cool breeze + coffee + tv + wifi + chika2 with ate angel
- sa mga supertramp, pwede ramo mag tent sa kiltepan, lake danum, and other places. daghan sad kahoy para hammock hehe
Food:
I'm not a blogger/foodie, budget traveler lang, I eat anything and anywhere cheap or where locals eat, but still have a budget for the local food/delicacy
anyway, daghan pa nindot ngadto, just explore the place and enjoy!

@joowen sa ako ma remember ang adventure trail namo gi agian kay una ang hanging coffins before sa cave.
we started sa church and gawas na dapit sa sagada weaving
basin pa reverse sila sa trail hehe.
@salbahis
Sakto kaayo ni imong gipang comment kapoy jud, tugnaw, ug layo ang lakaw esp if moadto ka sa terraces...been there sa among college tours...about 10 years ago pero wala mi kasulay anang mga landslide kay ting-init manto..
try misty lodge for the accomodation and try their yogurt. For me mas lamian ko sa ilang yogurt than the yogurt house![]()
hapit na. 3 months to go. matugkad na namu ning Sagada haha
