Fighter jets in Philippines is inappropriate.

We only have trainer jets. Those FA-50 from Korea are just paperweight, probably an RPG Launcher is enough to shoot one down.

Yes! Why not make our own instead of buying those?

1) The plane we got is not from US but from Sokor, its a FA-50, brandnew... hence i ask if you ever read the whole thread
2) Our steel industry is not mature enough to support local aero engineering feat, we have done that before and we fail... misserably...
3) Developing that capability is not overnight night project, it takes century... we barely scratch the surface...
4) We are already building our own hardware through technolog transfer from other country, you just dont know it, because you are to lazy to do a depth-research about it.
5) Everytime we receive a hardware from other country it all goes to rigorous upgrades we dont use as-is... and we didnt get it for free like most people believe... we pay for the upgrades... and we are talking billions of pesos of upgrades...
6) Building a defense industry is already started (again you dont know it because you are too lazy to do a reasearch) many years ago, we already have a Industrial zone for defense industry...
7) Our budget are constraints, we are not NoKor that we are doing Juche (search na para maka gets ka unsa na)

You are obviously part of the generation of millenials who only think its cool to have those fancy jet or awesome ships or those bad-ass tanks.. but didnt bother to know about the most important details....
