Other countries treat us like they own us especially China and the US.
Most foreigners come here to exploit Filipinos.
Most foreigners marry Filipinas for *** and slavery.
Despite efforts, drug trade in this country is as stronger as ever.
We almost import everything from raw materials, weapons, food to gadgets.
Our strategically important territory is in China's hands while our strategically useless territory is in Malaysia's hands.
How this administration almost sold us to China.

Might as well better break into little islands, at least Cebu has a better chance to become a 1st world country.

Just accept the grim reality that we may not be truly independent as it is, but I hope this will change and hope for next year's independence.

IMHO yes we are truly independent in terms of our decision-making though there might be instances that it's influence by foreign intervention but it's not only the Ph that may have experienced it

back on thread : independence day is like graduation sa college, too many graduated pero so many jobs available faux pas kau

first-thing-first, and first is it's not anymore my problem if you believe me or not ... so it's my assignment or task i'm giving to you that it's not for me to know but for you to find out

second, you have no right to tell me what to do as what your idol Digong said that it's freedom-of-expression ... so what can i say, mind your own monkey business

    OT:

i think you have a problem di lang sa imong pang-huna2x but also in spirit basin nasaniban ka dautang espirito ... considering how can you be so rude or negative to discourage the many jobless graduates? though it's a hard fact pero ayaw na tawun dungagi dong oi kay it's long been known

ako pa nimo, kun naa ka nahibaluan bakante trabaho then share it rather than blaming solely the government WTF!!!

what is you definition of democracy?

there is a wide misconception of democracy and independence among millenials... most think that democracy is absolute and independence is when you dont need to rely on anyone... *faceplam* both democracry and independence go together, how we perceive democracy will reflect on how we see independence..
