YM 8.1 did never run properly in my Vista 32-bit.
I could never connect, not even once. Under XP, it works fine.
So I use now windows live messenger, which also let me chat with my yahoo contacts.
And the video chat of live messenger is just amazing.
The new YM for Vista is since 10 month not out yet... maybe will never be...

Maybe I do not? I purchased Vista, I do not need to use pirated crap.

ahhhh ok ! then if the problem not solved yet try to download new version of yahoo messenger in there site. or u can dowload here http://www.oldapps.com/yahoo_messenger.htm . i try to used that one in vista its work good. but this time i was not using vista its because i dont know his interface so much cau'z if some error happened i did not solved it thats why im still using my old OS.

Pirated na gamit ninyo na OS sa Windows Vista ?

ako pud amiga.. naa xa NY... problem pud xa sa iyang vista pg mg YM xa...
mka connect xa but dli xa mka gamit sa audio nya...

his audio properties and audio driver was not configure porperly. some hardware does not compatible with windows vista. thats why he cannot used his audio.

if the problem, only in yahoo application ra di mag function iyang audio. try to re install new yahoo messenger.

Anyhow, on a Vista Home, the 8.1 version works. The same version on a Vista Ultimate did not work.

just yesterday, ako yahoo messenger keeps on crashing - exit lang ug iyaha. can't use it. anyone having this problem and a solution?

it was ok ever since and updated to the latest version w/ no problem until yesterday. i did nothing. it just start crashing on its own. unsa man ni?

scan w/ norton, avg anti-spyware, nothing - no virus, etc.

i tried uninstall and re-install, thrice already pero mao lang gihapon. updated flash. connection is ok coz i can surf.

help!
