korek! we shouldn't take any opponent lightly...I'm pretty sure Pacman is aware what Valero can do..if he has thrown any remarks that degrades the credibility of Valero's record, it's just for the media but they are both aware of what they can do...this would be a good match since both are knockout artists, but Pacman has the advantage, even though Barrera/Morales were at the post-peak or dawn of their storied careers, I still think they are capable of winning against Pacquiao and Pacman has gained substantial experience especially in improving his right jab and defense...Valero's inexperience could spell doom if he fights out of his fight plan against Pacman and vice versa!

the pacman years ago is totally different from the pacman that is today. it was roach who transformed him into a monster. just compare his fights before and after he fought ledwaba and you can see the big change to pacman. roach made his chin rock solid so as his body. according to israel vasquez that during their sparring sessions, pacman gives him the oppurtunity to him punch 3 times to his body as hard as he could but still, pacman can take them. and if you say that pacman didnt beat the best fighter, well, he made barrera who is @ top 3 in lb 4 lb lists during that time to look old overnight. and if you say morales was washed up against pacman, he shouldnt have taught diaz a boxing lesson though he lost controversially. that fight is not a sign that erik is washed up, he just faced a pacman that is very different from their first fight. though valero couldnt be taken lightly, his style is perfect for a pacman counter. erik has better defense than valero but even if he has a better defense, his decision to stand toe to toe with pacman led him to his doom. but it doesnt mean i dont want pacman to face valero, im just worried about valero's condition
