Only you can save yourself.
We need both IMO which worked for me. I hope it works to everybody![]()
Same rana sa presidente, dapat mag una atung pag too niya unya dungagan sa atung buhat sa pag sunod.
change is coming![]()
Salvation is only through faith, works are not included for your salvation. Works are just results of your faith. Faith that is alive ALWAYS results to works but it doesn't mean that you need to work to save yourself. Christ already has done all the work for people who trusted in Him for their salvation.
Faith and works does not save alone.. it should have DU30!
padayun.. dont mind me hahaha!
For me, kung faith alone, dili na xa enough..
Klaro kaayo ingon ni St. James. Faith without works is DEAD. Ang kani faith alone sa ako nahibaw.an 3 ka klase depende ra sa protestante asa sila comfortable na version pero kung ma refute gani ang isa ka version moambak na pud na sila sa lain version.
1. Faith with no works
2. Works is product of true faith
3. We do works because we are already saved.
Wa jud nag ingon si james na 'PROVE TO MEN'. Ayaw e twist ang gisulti ni james. Klaro kayo faith is active along with works. Works complete faith. Basaha tarong ang book of james. Wa jud gaingon good works is a product of true faith. Wa jud mag ingon we do good works because we are already saved.
This is a catholic doctrine.
Works+Faith= Salvation
Its only faith that Justifies us.
See Eph 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
salvation by works is boastfulness of man and its an enmity to God.
Works proves your faith but not a means to salvation.
You cannot do good works to get forgiveness its only by grace through faith by asking forgiveness because salvation by grace requires repentance to sin no more.
while salvation by good works does not lead to repentance and doesn't repent but just toping evil deeds with good works it doesn't intend to stop evil deeds so its a corruption. Repentance without Christ is futile since we are powerless against temptation without Christ in us.
It really depends on the intention for good works if you do it because you genuinely love the person doing good to others or through Gods guidance, remorse through repentance That is the Good works in James.
While Good works intended for self righteousness and earning ones salvation by works is filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6
I would also include anything that is idolatry mixed with good works, like rituals, chanting, meditation, "holy mass", communion, transubstantiation are corruption. Although certain so called christians considered this Good works as what is mentioned in James, this is unbiblical and its idolatry and self delusion, meditation and chanting is one way of communicating with spirits. When studying the Bible or in the service it should be with discernment, not by ones own but by Gods given discernment through the Bible not mindless repetitive prayers by rosary beads it is clearly prohibited, and a mockery to all an knowing God repeating your prayers see Mathew 6:7-8 (KJV)
What is mentioned in James is the fruits of the spirit with the intention to be in Gods will and in love for one another and not rituals of certain religion. Idolatry and communicating with dead saints or communicating with the dead is is clearly prohibited in the bible in Deuteronomy 18:10
