Woman dies after breast job

A PROCEDURE that was supposed to enhance her looks proved to be fatal for a 28-year-old woman on Thursday night.

Gleceria Tan, an entertainer, died a day after she was rushed to the hospital after she suffered complications while undergoing a breast enhancement procedure in a Makati City cosmetic clinic.

"The victim submitted herself to the procedure at 5 p.m. on Wednesday," said PO2 Jason David, Makati City Police Department homicide investigator. "One hour later, she had difficulty breathing. In a short while, she became unconscious."

tragic it is but everyone is aware that there are risks in undergoing one. if they want to take that risk then it's the price they have to pay. sadly in this one it's death.

I'm not very sure but I think most guys prefer natural over enhanced breasts.

Personally, its a real turn off to know that my date's boobies aren't for real.

What about the cosmetic surgeon who did it? You got a name? He/she should be publicized! The real issue here is NOT Gleceria Tan but the incapable doctor. Before doing a surgery, risks are considered and doctors usually advise patients NOT to proceed if the risks are too high.

Isnt it a protocol for surgeons/doctors to let patients sign a waiver or obliged to sign one that he or she is at their own risk . Even an anesthesia application needs one . DO you think the surgeon is still liable for it aside from medical malpractice ?
